PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER (PVP)
Player Versus Player game modes involve game rules that pit human players against other human players, such as Zombie Modes.
The vanilla zombie game mode. 20 seconds countdown on every round before random players are chosen as zombies:
Successfully exterminate all zombies or survive until the round ends.
Successfully kill all zombies or survive until the round ends.
The first revision of zombie mode, zombies possess zombie grenades and regenerate health when idle. New zombie types are also added.
Once a zombie has infected a number of humans, it would evolve which sees an increase in skill durations and health.
For humans, there are supply boxes for weapons purchase and ammunition refill randomly spawning on the map.
Every human now possesses two abilities, which are usable once per round:
|Player momentarily gains a speed boost, allowing one to outrun zombies. Once the effect wears out, a massive speed penalty is imposed for several seconds.||Allowing one to quickly take down a zombie, all shots count as headshots regardless of hitbox for several seconds.|
The second revision of zombie mode, zombies would continue to respawn until they have been killed by a headshot. Upon taking damage from firearms, their "Anger" bar fills, allowing them to evolve much quicker in addition to infecting humans.
On the other hand, the human team gains a firepower bar which increases upon ever zombie kill. In addition, two special heroes are chosen randomly among the survivors per round.
|ANDRE (HERO)||KATE (HEROINE)|
|Certain male players are randomly chosen to be him. He is able to wield powerful weapons, run faster and jump higher than other humans. Not to mention that he's immune to Deimos' shock wave.||Certain female players are randomly chosen to be her. She possesses the same ability as the Hero.|
A hero or heroine runs faster than a human, is immune to Deimos' shock projectile skill is able to wield one of the powerful weapons below.
The third revision of zombie mode, it is considered a standalone. In addition to the core game mode, the game revolves around a day and night cycle.
There are no Heroes in this mode. During the day, humans are stronger than zombies. At night, zombies are more powerful. After the night cycle, humans are provided with ammunition.
Survive the infection or successfully kill all zombies. The 'TEAM MORALE' bar has been removed, having it replaced by the concentrated firepower skill (builds up over time). Using it guarantees headshot damage to zombies.
Successfully infect all humans. The 'ANGER' bar has been removed so there's no evolution. Zombies now have their unique skills with cooldowns. At night, they regenerate much quicker
A modification of the original Zombie 2: Mutation, humans are killed upon hit by zombies, and zombies do not respawn upon death. Zombies are randomly placed on the map before game begins. Players will randomly switch sides for balance.
Successfully eliminate all zombies or survive until the round ends. No supply boxes will be provided.
Successfully kill all humans. 25 seconds before the round ends, nearby humans are seen through walls and flashed red on the radar.
Humans versus human-controlled zombie bosses found in Zombie Scenario. Random players are chosen as zombie bosses (max of three). The individual which scores most points wins the game.
Exterminate the zombie boss(es) to score points. Airstrikes can be used through the UAV control box located on the map. Killing or acquiring assists provide support points:
1) 1 to 4 (use supply boxes on the map)
2) 5 to 9 (use a laser-guided device)
3) 10 (transform into an XT-300 Goliath)
Kill humans to score points. Selection of zombie boss is random; each one offers its own type of skills. There are four playable species:
Humans escape the zombies by overcoming obstacles and reaching the checkpoint at the end of the map.
During the beginning of the round, a few players are chosen to be zombies. After 10 seconds, they are released from the spawn and are able to chase the humans.
After reaching the final checkpoint, humans have to fend off the zombies from entering the rescue zone or vehicle. Should it happen, the zombies win.
On the way, human players could pick up supply boxes dropped around the map which provide extra hand grenades, ammo replenishment and zombie range detectors.
Stranded in a desolated city, a small group of players scavenge for supplies to upgrade their shelter, defences and build structures while battling waves of zombies and occassionally bosses at night.
Players could choose their dedicated skill group to master from; COMBAT, SURVIVOR or ENGINEER.
During the daytime, zombies are generally weak and it is a good time to build, upgrade and plan.
Once night falls, zombies become much stronger and attack in swarms.
The game ends once the final zombie boss has been killed.
Employs a Team Deathmatch/ Annihilation style gameplay, except that players can choose their forms as zombies or humans. Powerups randomly spawn across the map which can be picked up to be used against the enemy or to benefit the team:
